Kalamazoo
Golf Outing 2007
 The
Kalamazoo outing was on June 2 at the famous Lynx golf course in Otsego
where over 95 participants competed for prizes including a Goodman 13 SEER
condenser, golf clubs, cash and more. Everyone enjoyed a delicious pig roast
dinner afterwards.
Many awards were presented and a good time was had
by everyone. Please plan on attending again next year!
Johnstone Celebrates 30 Years!
On October 6th, 2005 Johnstone Supply celebrated 30 years serving HVAC dealers in
Western and Central Michigan at their Muskegon location. Over 38 vendors set
up a huge trade show under the big top tent and throughout the Johnstone
building. Over 500 people attended the day's event featuring a pig roast,
live music, silent auctions, moon walk for the kids and hundreds of door
prizes. "We just wanted to thank everyone who has been a part of our
business throughout the past 30 years" said Tom Johnson sales manager for
Johnstone Supply. " I was surprised to see customers here from Mt. Pleasant,
Lansing, Ludington, Benton Harbor and Kalamazoo. That's a long way to drive
during the busy season. We really appreciated seeing everyone".
Some of the door prizes included a 93% furnace from Goodman, 27" TV from
Siemens, recovery unit from Bacharach and much more. The live music was
courtesy of local band "Pavlov's Dog" who entertained late into the evening.
Dealers also took advantage of product specials with deep discounts from
each of the 38 attending vendors. Johnstone is looking forward to the next
30years of continued success.
Grand Rapids
Branch Expansion
The
new Grand Rapids branch expansion was
officially opened on
November 4th, 2004 with much fanfare. We hosted a big vendor tradeshow with
burgers and brats for lunch. A special Silent Auction was held on heating
equipment and unbelievable deals were available. Many
dealers took advantage of the special pricing offered on many HVAC
items. Over 30
door prizes were awarded to those attending. The parking lots were jammed
with service vehicles attending the show.
The branch originally opened
with 10,000 total square feet and has now expanded to over 28,000 total
square ft, 3000 of which are devoted to a self-service showroom. A new
"Drive-Thru" service is available for dealers to pick up their orders inside
away from the rain, wind and snow. Simply pull inside, load up and exit the
other side of the building.

air conditioners, compressors, controls, instruments tools, pumps, boilers
and much more.
Christmas Parties
2006
 Johnstone Supply ended 2006 with their traditional annual
fried chicken and mashed potatoes Christmas luncheons. Johnstone Supply
Kalamazoo Michigan location started the week off with hundreds of area dealers
enjoying chicken and seeing the new branch location up close. Then Wednesday at
Johnstone Holland, Michigan followed by Johnstone Grand Rapids on Thursday, MI
and finally on Friday in Johnstone Muskegon. In addition to the chicken the
dealers enjoyed biscuits, beans, pop, coffee and cake. It was a chance to relax,
tell holiday stories and enjoy each others company. Johnstone Supply salutes the
HVAC/R dealers throughout Michigan and wishes everyone a great 2007!
